New Report Shows Disparities in Service Delivery for Hispanic, Asian and Spanish-Speaking Children are Only Increasing Despite State Efforts to Reduce  

Even after four years of state funding for various disparity reduction projects, funding inequities within California's developmental services system are getting worse, according to a new report by Public Counsel. The report documents growing disparities in funding between White and Hispanic and Asian children and between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking children. The report identifies root causes for these alarming differences and provides recommendations to improve equal access to these state-funded programs and services.
