  • DCFS-compiled Community Resource List: This resource is a comprehensive directory of services. Although focused on eastern Los Angeles County, it contains many resources available county-wide. 
  • Alliance for Children’s Rights-compiled Resource List: This resource also is a comprehensive list of resources for families across Los Angeles. https://kids-alliance.org/covid-19/


  • Public Counsel’s Remote Guardianship Clinic: Information on how to obtain services from Public Counsel’s free remote guardianship clinic. See the flyer in English here and in Spanish here


  • Many resources for families are specific to your school district. Check out our list here for your district.  

Transition Age Youth

  • Conrad H. Hilton Foundation COVID-19 Resource Catalog: This catalogue contains information on education, employment, and housing for foster youth and their caregivers. 
  • Remaining in foster care after 21: Youth in extended foster who are about to turn may stay in care until at least June 30, 2020. Some SILP approval and work/education participation requirements have also been waived. See here for more. 
  • Is your drivers’ license suspended because of a ticket? If yes, you may qualify to get the suspension temporarily lifted. See here for information and call us if you need help.
