Report Details Shocking Arrest Rates for African-American School-Age Youth by Oakland Law Enforcement

Oakland, Calif. (Aug. 28, 2013) – Oakland police are arresting school-age African American youth at shockingly high rates, contributing to the education crisis for students of color. The data is published in a report released on August 28 by the Black Organizing Project, Public Counsel and the ACLU of Northern California.
