Run for Justice Rocks the Ravine

More than 400 runners from 30 different law firms and companies hit the hills of Chavez Ravine to support Public Counsel at the 8th annual Run for Justice (RJF) at Dodger Stadium.  Public Counsel's Run for Justice is part of the official 5K run at the Los Angeles Marathon.

One runner, Brian Duff of Proskauer, raced across the finish line with his 20-month-old son, Marley, leading the way. "It's fun to get out and support a good cause," said the former college runner.

"Everyone from partners to staff people wanted to join together," said Gail Title, a partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, which sent a record 47 people to participate in Run for Justice this year.

"This is a great event, and I knew I had to get my family involved," said Danielle Neveu of Navigant, who personally raised more than $2,400.

Navigant sponsored the Third Base Prime Ticket Club where all the teams supporting Public Counsel gathered before and after the run. Navigant Managing Director Richard Finkelman said supporting Public Counsel was "about doing the right thing."
